Big Why
I have 2 wonderful children and a great husband. I love the flexibility of my job and being apart of an amazing team- both at home and on the job. I have been prospecting for years and I genuinely enjoy it. I take a lot of pride in the appointment's that we set and working towards an end goal with all of the agents and sellers that we work with. For me, it is all about setting really great appointments and helping sellers get to where they really want to be. I love putting those people in touch with great agents and helping them in their journey. Whether it be selling, buying or needing the advice from an agent for an unorthodox situation, it is all about establishing a connection, building rapport and genuinely caring about their situations and needs.
Story of a Big Win
Chasing a For Sale By Owner for 6 months because he was trying to save the commission of using an agent. I followed up with the seller every 3 weeks just to check in with him and see how he was doing. Finally, by the 6th month, he had dropped the asking price by $22,600 (original asking price was $254,900) I explained to him that the amount he dropped the price by was substantially more than what he would have paid an agent in commission. Long story short, he finally agreed to meet with my agent the next day and signed an agreement 20 minutes into their conversation. The agent I was working with had it sold 3 days later at the original asking price. This was a huge win for me because it shows that persistence pays off.
Pets
I have a fox terrier/ chihuahua mix named Lucifer (Lou for short) he thinks he is a cat and loves terrorizing our 2 kitties. Tropper is my baby kitty but the nurturing one of the animals- she was born on 9/11 and has almost died twice (hence the name Tropper). Gus is my "fearless protector kitty" He loves to come in the house only to eat and then leaves to roam the neighborhood and make sure everyone in the area is protected from the mice. Truth be told, the area I live in is near train tracks and fields so there used to be a lot of mice especially during the winter - we have not seen a single one since he moved in.
Favorite Food
Taco Salad- The way my mom makes it.
Best part of my job
I do not have one specific favorite part. I love my team and have a wonderful support network. I love being a part of an amazing company and being an intricate member this "family" and I love helping agents fill their pipeline and find ways to grow their business. I love coaching and teaching people how to initiate conversations without being overly aggressive and potentially "turning off a seller".
Things you wouldn't know about me
I used to sing in a band and I have competed in talent shows (and won) since I was a child. I also competed in NYSMA solo fest a few times. I was asked to join the high school jazz chorus when I was in 7th grade and sang the national anthem for all of my school sporting events until I graduated.
