Things you wouldn't know about me

Owner, Founder

Big Why
Create a work culture that I always craved - with an emphasis on client-care and work-life balance. To treat employees and clients like family. I love impacting business owners bottom line and helping professionals grow in new and unexpected ways.

Story of a Big Win
Chasing a couple who both traveled constantly for work - leaving them both dozens of voicemails until a listing appointment could be set - hearing how appreciative they were for the follow up during their stressful move! They had 3 different agents previously and the home was sold in less than one week!

Pets
Two naughty dogs, Arthur and Charlie, and a rabbit named Onion

Favorite Food
Chocolate Chip Cookies

Best part of my job
Every first listing!

Things you wouldn't know about me
My great-great uncle was Mark Twain, I'm the oldest of three girls, and my family is from the Midwest. I'm surprisingly fortunate enough to be marrying another cheesehead I found in the city of Rochester!

Cassandra Ross

Director of Operations

Big Why
I have 2 wonderful children and a great husband. I love the flexibility of my job and being apart of an amazing team- both at home and on the job. I have been prospecting for years and I genuinely enjoy it. I take a lot of pride in the appointment's that we set and working towards an end goal with all of the agents and sellers that we work with. For me, it is all about setting really great appointments and helping sellers get to where they really want to be. I love putting those people in touch with great agents and helping them in their journey. Whether it be selling, buying or needing the advice from an agent for an unorthodox situation, it is all about establishing a connection, building rapport and genuinely caring about their situations and needs.

Story of a Big Win
Chasing a For Sale By Owner for 6 months because he was trying to save the commission of using an agent. I followed up with the seller every 3 weeks just to check in with him and see how he was doing. Finally, by the 6th month, he had dropped the asking price by $22,600 (original asking price was $254,900) I explained to him that the amount he dropped the price by was substantially more than what he would have paid an agent in commission. Long story short, he finally agreed to meet with my agent the next day and signed an agreement 20 minutes into their conversation. The agent I was working with had it sold 3 days later at the original asking price. This was a huge win for me because it shows that persistence pays off.

Pets
I have a fox terrier/ chihuahua mix named Lucifer (Lou for short) he thinks he is a cat and loves terrorizing our 2 kitties. Tropper is my baby kitty but the nurturing one of the animals- she was born on 9/11 and has almost died twice (hence the name Tropper). Gus is my "fearless protector kitty" He loves to come in the house only to eat and then leaves to roam the neighborhood and make sure everyone in the area is protected from the mice. Truth be told, the area I live in is near train tracks and fields so there used to be a lot of mice especially during the winter - we have not seen a single one since he moved in.

Favorite Food
Taco Salad- The way my mom makes it.

Best part of my job
I do not have one specific favorite part. I love my team and have a wonderful support network. I love being a part of an amazing company and being an intricate member this "family" and I love helping agents fill their pipeline and find ways to grow their business. I love coaching and teaching people how to initiate conversations without being overly aggressive and potentially "turning off a seller".

Things you wouldn't know about me
I used to sing in a band and I have competed in talent shows (and won) since I was a child. I also competed in NYSMA solo fest a few times. I was asked to join the high school jazz chorus when I was in 7th grade and sang the national anthem for all of my school sporting events until I graduated.

Sales Manager

Big Why
Every call is a new adventure. I literally spend my workdays talking to folks all over the country. We meet every walk of life you could think of. Everyone has a goal in mind, and I know that our amazing agents can help them achieve those goals. My wife and I have become first time home owners this year as well, and we can't wait to make it perfect one project at a time.

Story of a Big Win
Getting told off by a seller who had one too many calls for his sanity that morning. I eventually had to hang up and move on. Less than an hour later he calls me back to apologize, and we end up chatting for like 20 minutes and land the appointment!

Pets
Just one for now - a silly, naughty, playful, and absolute best Bichon. Her name is Billie Boo. Once we move into our new home, she'll be getting a sister soon too.

ISA, Account Manager

Big Why
I do this because I like the challenge, the hard work makes the payoff that much sweeter!

Story of a Big Win
I've had a handful of "victories" but one that comes to mind is arranging an appointment for a homeowner whose home was nearing an auction date and who was reluctant to speak not only to myself but to other agents as he felt there was nothing that could be done. I dug, pushed a little harder than usual, and was able to convince him to meet with one of our clients! He not only went out on the appointment as scheduled but we got the listing! The home sold quickly at asking price and I feel if I had not pushed a little harder, this property would have been auctioned off and the homeowner may have lost thousands. It’s great to breathe a little hope into sellers that feel like they’ve run out of options!

Pets
3 dogs, a German Shepherd "Royal", a Pit-lab mix "Lexi" and a one-eyed Pug "Stephanie". I also have a cat "Marley" who is the baddest ass cat ever!

Favorite Food
Pretty much anything that's been barbecued. Yum.

Best part of my job
Making an impact on homeowners lives and helping them reach their goals!

Things you wouldn't know about me
I was born in South Carolina and have lived in Boston as well. I also am an avid air drummer and disc-golfer.

Story of a Big Win

Favorite Food

Best part of my job

To be honest I just love the thrill of a sale. It just feels really good when you can convince someone who had their mind made up to take that listing appointment.

Story of a Big Win
Any time I start a conversation with a seller and the first thing they say is "under no circumstances will I list this property" and I get them to set up a listing appointment and they list. Those calls always feel like a big win for me.

Pets
Elvis, he's a cat.

Our Story

Against recommendations for a less-silly name, Kat Clemens founded Kat Calling in 2015 with a deliberate desire to make money in her pajamas. Partnering up with several real estate professionals locally, she began the foundation for a scalable marketing solution.

High quality leads are crucial to appointment setting success, so she set out to create a second company focused entirely on compiling detailed consumer data. Almost one year of trials later - Bantam Leads offers better data for better prices to anyone in the United States.

Kat’s confidence and eccentricities attracted a tribe of like-minded sales superstars. Her progressive “anywhere-office” allowed for work-life balance and attracted working parents and seasoned professionals. The team was instantly recognized for superior client-care and a passion for sales language.

August 1, 2017, Kat Calling opened a second location in the historic High Falls District in Downtown Rochester, next door to sister company, Bantam Leads. Take the best data, add the best sales team, a customer support system like no other and you have a winning formula for lead generation that continues to evolve and respond to customer needs.

Fast forward, the team with a silly name has generated thousands of appointments and millions of dollars in referrals for business owners across the country. The team has grown to 20+ full time employees, working toward a goal to prospect in every continental U.S. State.
